We’re two-thirds of the way through the Southern Section-Toyota Division I final and Irvine University and Santa Barbara remain tied with only six sets left. Not only are they even at six sets apiece, but each team has won three singles sets and three doubles sets.

University holds a slight lead in games but Santa Barbara might have a slight matchup advantage heading into the third and final round. Whichever team can win a set it isn’t supposed to win is the one that will hoist the championship trophy.

Should the match end tied, 9-9, after all 18 sets are played, the team with the most total games wins. If the teams are even on games, players will take the court again for round robin tiebreakers to decide the champion.
