Baseball: Northview and Diamond Ranch still scoreless

With two innings behind us, Northview and Diamond Ranch are still tied, 0-0, in their Division II championship game at Dodger Stadium. Both teams went down 1-2-3 in the second, but Aaron Elias managed to strike out Derek Goodwin.

I have a feeling this one could turn into a pitcher’s duel between the undefeated Elias and Gus Lanuza.

Northview shortstop Rich Pedroza made a great running catch on Lanuza’s blooper to shallow left field to end the inning.
