Baseball: Collier, Montgomery picked in draft

Two Southland products, outfielder Zach Collier of Chino Hills and pitcher Mike Montgomery of Newhall Hall, were taken as compensation picks in the draft. Collier went No. 34 to the Philadelphia Phillies and Montgomery was taken No. 36 by the Kansas City Royals.
