Football: Disciplinary action could keep Wilson’s Gilmore on sidelines

Standout RB Tim Gilmore is questionable for Hacienda Heights Wilson‘s season opener against Sonora after being suspended from school last week, reports the San Gabriel Valley Tribune.

Gilmore didn’t participate in Wilson’s scrimmage with Arroyo on Friday and Wilson coach Greg Hoyd is keeping tight-lipped on the circumstances surrounding Gilmore’s suspension.

If Gilmore doesn’t play, I like Sonora’s chances. The Wildcats could have trouble getting past tackle meister James Carr and the seven other returners on the Raider defense if Gilmore isn’t on the field.
