Here’s a sneak peek at the rankings that will appear in Monday’s paper with comments on team movement below the jump:

1. Long Beach Poly (2-0)

2. Corona Centennial (2-0)

3. Crespi (3-0)

4. Mission Viejo (3-0)

5. Mater Dei (2-1)

6. St. Bonaventure (3-0)

7. Servite (2-1)

8. SO Notre Dame (2-0)

9. Oaks Christian (3-0)

10. Redlands East Valley (2-0)

11. Edison (3-0)

12. Los Osos (2-0)

13. Bishop Amat (2-1)

14. Upland (3-0)

15. Loyola (2-1)

16. Orange Lutheran (2-1)

17. Los Alamitos (2-0)

18. Lakewood (3-0)

19. Rancho Verde (3-0)

20. Corona Santiago (1-1)

21. Chaparral (1-1)

22. Tesoro (3-0)

23. St. John Bosco (3-0)

24. Serra (3-0)

25. Palmdale (2-0)

Moving In: Serra has a pair of blowout victories and a two-point triumph over a good Carson team. That’s good enough for us. Palmdale throttled Hart and followed it up with a 55-19 romp over Granada Hills Kennedy.

Moving Out: Esperanza looked somewhat shaky even in its two victories, so we must bid adieu to the Aztecs following their loss to Mira Costa. Norco did itself no favors by laying an egg against Canyon Country Canyon after moving into last week’s rankings.

Moving Up: Crespi moved up a spot following its victory over Servite and Mission Viejo did the same as a result of Mater Dei’s loss to Corona Centennial. Upland and Loyola got a bump thanks to another unimpressive performance by Orange Lutheran. The Cubs can’t be penalized for a close loss to Concord De La Salle. Los Alamitos, Lakewood, Rancho Verde, Corona Santiago, Chaparral, Tesoro and St. John Bosco all moved up as a result of Esperanza’s loss.

Moving Down: Servite and Mater Dei took only a minor rankings hit after close losses against quality teams. Orange Lutheran hasn’t fared so hot as of late, grinding out a 10-0 victory over Tustin.

On the Doorstep: Mira Costa (2-1), Vista Murietta (3-0) and Saugus (2-0).
