Football: Big night for Oaks Christian QB transfers

It’s becoming apparent that if you’re a backup at Oaks Christian, you’re not too bad based on how well the quarterbacks who transferred from Oaks Christian are doing this season.
On Friday night, Jake Geringer passed for 226 yards for Newbury Park. Nick Isham completed 14 of 18 passes for 144 yards and four touchdowns for Westlake. Anthony Vitto started but passed for only 99 yards for Chaminade.
All were competing for the starting position at Oaks Christian last summer until their quick exit once a decision had been made about the starter, along with the arrival from Northern California of Nick Montana.
