Here’s a sneak peek at the new rankings that will be published in Monday’s paper, with comments on team movement after the jump:

*Since common sense (and head-to-head matchups) should prevail, we have amended this list to correct the fact that in an earlier version we had Crespi ahead of St. Bonaventure. Imagine that.

Moving In: Nobody. Taft and Narbonne missed their opportunities.

Moving Out: Nobody.

Moving Up: Sherman Oaks Notre Dame got a two-spot nudge thanks to its victory over Servite. Mission Viejo got a one-spot bump in the wake of St. Bonaventure’s loss to Long Beach Poly. Oaks Christian and Redlands East Valley also moved up one spot.

Moving Down: Some might say St. Bonaventure shouldn’t budge after a close loss to Long Beach Poly. Well, it dropped only one spot, so I say that’s fair. Who knows what would happen if Mission Viejo got a chance to take on the Jackrabbits? Servite fell four spots in the wake of the Notre Dame loss.

On the Doorstep (in no particular order): Newport Harbor (4-1), Alemany (5-0), Valencia (4-1), Oxnard (5-0), Santa Monica (5-0), Esperanza (4-1), San Clemente (5-0), Riverside North (3-2), Moorpark (4-1), Citrus Hill (5-0), Narbonne (4-1), San Pedro (5-0), Carson (2-3), L.A. Jordan (2-3). Taft (4-1).
