I recently arrived at Los Osos for the Grizzlies’ big Baseline League showdown against Upland, and I have to say it would be hard to imagine a more picturesque setting. The field is framed by a mountain range in the background and as the sun sets it has the feel of a game at the Rose Bowl.

The nearby community is very nice, with a South Orange County feel to it. It reminds me a lot of San Juan Capistrano and Rancho Santa Margarita.

Let’s hope the game, billed as a showdown between Los Osos quarterback Richard Brehaut and Upland counterpart Josh Nunes, can live up to the surroundings.
