Slowed by injuries earlier this season, Birmingham receiver De’Von Flournoy is starting to really take off. Just like the Patriots.

Flournoy had four catches for 160 yards and three touchdowns and made an interception on defense while playing only through the first series of the third quarter Friday during Birmingham’s 56-6 victory over El Camino Real.

‘Not a bad night,’ Patriots Coach Ed Croson said.

After starting the season 0-4, Birmingham has won its last three games by a combined score of 164-20. The Patriots (3-4 overall, 2-0 West Valley League) play at Cleveland (4-3, 1-1) on Friday.
