Move over, Mark Sanchez. Way over.

There’s a new single-season record holder for passing touchdowns at Mission Viejo, and it’s Allan Bridgford. And he set the record in only nine games.

With his two-touchdown performance Friday during Mission Viejo’s come-from-behind, 45-31 victory over Dana Hills, Bridgford has passed for 30 touchdowns this season. Sanchez passed for 29 touchdowns in 14 games in 2004.

Bridgford has at least two games remaining this season. Mission Viejo plays host to Capistrano Valley on Friday before beginning the Pac-5 Division playoffs the following week.
