Football: Crenshaw’s Alexander heading to Smurf turf country

Crenshaw senior defensive end Nicholas Alexander has committed to Boise State, reports Scout.com.

Alexander, whose grandfather Carl Eller was a NFL Hall of Fame defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks, made the decision after Boise State coach Chris Petersen offered him a scholarship following a weekend visit to Smurf turf country.

Alexander also had a scholarship offer from Washington State.
