Football: Lancers and Dons tied up at 14-14

As expected, it’s been all John Lister here at Thousand Oaks. Well, almost all John Lister.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound senior running back has rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns in the first quarter alone as the Lancers are tied with Santa Barbara 14-14 at the end of the first quarter in a Northern Division first round playoff game.

Lister has occasionally had to share the spotlight with the Dons’ Roberto Nelson.

The senior wide receiver, better known as one of the Southland’s top basketball players, and one of the better prospects in the nation, has a pair of touchdown receptions thus far, a 14-yarder and a 70-yarder.
