Mission Viejo has broken on top in its Pac-5 Division playoff game against Loyola. On the Diablos’ second play, quarterback Allan Bridgford made a short pass to running back Jake Marshall on a screen play, and Marshall ran 82 yards for a touchdown and a 7-0 lead.

Loyola got the ball first, and running back Anthony Barr was running gingerly. The Cubs got to their own 48 before having to punt. It was not a good start for the Cubs.
