Birmingham has rattled off 13 consecutive points to open the third quarter and now trails Narbonne, 35-27. Dominique Flowers scored on a one-yard plunge before a bad snap on the extra-point attempt cost the Patriots a shot at making it a seven-point game.

Narbonne, which once held a 28-0 lead, fumbled on its first offensive play of the quarter. The Gauchos now have the ball at midfield entering the fourth quarter.
