Live blog: Saugus takes early 7-0 lead over Thousand Oaks

In a fast-moving first quarter, Kollin DePew caught a five-yard touchdown pass from Desi Rodriguez to give Saugus a 7-0 lead in tonight’s CIF Southern Section Northern Division quarterfinal game at College of the Canyons.

Thousand Oaks then drove to the Centurions’ 23-yard line but a sack and a fumble recovery by Saugus ended the threat. The Lancers are driving again as the second quarter begins.
