Crenshaw has taken an 18-17 lead over Narbonne with 47 seconds left in the second quarter on a four-yard touchdown run by quarterback Marquis Thompson. For the third consecutive time, the Cougars failed on the extra point attempt, with a pass being intercepted.

The key play in the drive was a 29-yard pass reception by Geno Hall. Crenshaw has been effective on offense, with DeAnthony Thomas rushing for 127 yards in 13 carries. Narbonne’s most successful weapon has been Byron Moore Jr., who has a 74-yard punt return for a touchdown and a 58-yard punt return.
