Football: End of three quarters, Tesoro still leads

The third quarter has ended, and Tesoro has the ball leading Long Beach Poly, 14-7.

The Titans (13-0), which only started playing football in 2001, are one quarter away from pulling off the astounding accomplishment of beating Mater Dei, Orange Lutheran and Long Beach Poly in consecutive playoff games, not to mention Tesoro Coach Brian Barnes beating Los Alamitos and his father, John, in the opener.

This game could still go either way, but Tesoro’s defense continues to frustrate Poly’s offense.
