Football: West Ranch coach resigns

West Ranch Coach Mike Kane resigned on Thursday, becoming the second Foothill League coach to call it quits in as many weeks. Golden Valley Coach Steve Pinkston, who, like Kane, was the first and only football coach in school history, resigned last week.
