Los Angeles Loyola boys’ basketball Coach Jamal Adams is a finalist for the Positive Coaching Alliance’s Double-Goal Coach Award for his positive impact on youth athletes.

Double-Goal Coach Award recipients will be honored at a ceremony at Stanford University on April 24.

‘I try to get my players to understand that even within their athletic careers there are all kinds of aspects to being not only a good athlete but a good person,’ Adams said. ‘I coach in terms of wanting to see our guys grow up as a whole person.’
