Top-seeded King scored 12 of the final 14 points of the third quarter to pull into a 43-43 tie with fourth-seeded Taft heading into the fourth quarter in a Southern California Division I regional semifinal at King.

Senior guard Chris Harriel scored 10 points in the quarter for King, which outscored Taft, 22-9, over the eight-minute quarter. Wolves senior forward Kawhi Leonard picked up his fourth foul with 1 minute 16 seconds left in the third quarter and remains on the bench to start the fourth quarter.
