Boys’ basketball: Williams, Sachs shine in all-star game

La Mirada’s Derrick Williams and La Habra’s Jordan Sachs scored 20 points apiece to lead the East to a 124-89 victory over the West in the Fifth Annual East/West High School Basketball Game on Saturday night at Whittier College.

The USC-bound Williams and Sachs were named co-most valuable players. Williams had seven dunks in the game.
