Football: North roster set for Orange County all-star game

Los Alamitos quarterback Clark Evans and La Habra running back Ronnie Hillman are among those selected to play for the North team in the Orange County all-star game July 10 at Orange Coast College.

Evans will be joined at quarterback by El Dorado’s Kane Wilson. The other running backs are Josh Brannon of Pacifica and Greg Portis of Servite.

Wide receivers include Colton Grandbouche of Canyon, Darryl Jenkins of Los Alamitos, Tubotein Taylor of Canyon and Scotty Williams of Orange Lutheran. The offensive linemen are Zach Burge of Servite, Ryan Derry of Los Alamitos, Randall Hicks of Fullerton, Geoff Hyde of Esperanza, Daniel Jamokha of Western, Willie Mayoral of La Habra, Andre Polo of Fullerton and Kevin Rowlands of Los Alamitos. Michael Frisina of Brea Olinda will be the kicker/punter.

The defensive linemen are Mike Arakelian of Orange Lutheran, Sean Avila of Esperanza, Dontaie Ferguson of Servite, Ronald Perranoski of Villa Park and Kyle White of Kennedy. The linebackers are James Carr of Sonora, Joseph Casey of La Habra, Mark Edwards of Whittier Christian, Billy Henley of El Dorado, Jay Kirschner of Canyon and Kevin O’Connell of El Dorado. The defensive backs are Michael Allain of Fullerton, Robert Cruz of Magnolia, Kyle Dravis of Orange Lutheran, Derek Orman of Western, Dane Poole of Esperanza and Christian Tekurio of Kennedy.

The coach will be Los Alamitos’ John Barnes.
