Track: Crenshaw runs away with 4x100 relay

No surprise here. Crenshaw’s foursome of Dayvon Allen, Jonathan Downard, Gregory Ducre and DeAnthony Thomas won the 4x100 relay in a blistering 41.17 seconds to advance to the state meet. Birmingham finished second in 41.79 and Taft was third in 42.00.

Birmingham won the girls’ 4x100 in 47.42, followed by Carson in 47.78 and Washington in 47.99. The top three finishers in all running events advance to next week’s state meet in Clovis.
