Redondo’s Chloe Curtis blew away her competitors in the girls’ 1,600 meters this evening at Cerritos College, finishing in 4:51.32.

Curtis was way ahead of the pack for the entire final lap and staved off a strong closing kick to win easily. Palos Verdes’ Rebecca Mehra was second in 4:52.93 and Orange Lutheran’s Staci Foster was third in 4:52.99.
