La Sierra’s Reggie Wyatt faces quite the dilemma later tonight: two of his events will be run practically back to back.

But in his first race of the evening, the boys’ 400, Wyatt won relatively easily in 46.54 seconds. Chino Hills’ Josh Mance was second in 46.99 and Serra’s Robert Woods was third in 47.15.

Wyatt will later run the 300 hurdles and the 200 dash with only one event--the girls’ 200--separating the races. It will be interesting to see how he holds up. His best event is the 300 hurdles, which will come first. Will he have enough juice left to win the 200 against the likes of Cathedral’s Randall Carroll?
