Baseball: Hedges, Northcraft are Trinity League MVPs

Sophomore second baseman Austin Hedges of San Juan Capistrano JSerra and senior pitcher-designated hitter Aaron Northcraft of Santa Ana Mater Dei have been named the co-most valuable players of the Trinity League.

Junior Bobby Wheatley of Orange Lutheran and senior Robert Kelly of Santa Margarita were selected the co-pitchers of the year.

First-team all-league selections include Bret Dahlson, Quinn Renner, Dylan Christensen, Grahamm Wiest and Joe Kurrasch from JSerra, Brian Frattali, Derek Campbell and Cory Hahn from Mater Dei, Willie Shaw and Dillon Bryant from Orange Lutheran, Trayce Thompson and Nick Wagner from Santa Margarita and Dante Flores from St. John Bosco.
