Football: La Habra’s Ghandour picks San Diego State

La Habra tight end John Ghandour has committed to San Diego State, according to Rivals.com.
But before Ghandour plays tight end for the Aztecs, he will play guard his senior season for the Highlanders. Coach Frank Mazzotta is moving the 6-foor-4, 245-pound Ghandour to the offensive line to utilize his size and let others play tight end.
The coach said some schools were recruiting Ghandour at each position, though San Diego State was the only school to extend a scholarship offer.
Ghandour will join former La Habra running back Ronnie Hillman, a teammate with the Highlanders in 2008, at San Diego State. Hillman will be a freshman for the Aztecs this fall.
