Football: Hart kicks off season vs. El Camino Real

For the first time in his 21 seasons at Newhall Hart, head coach Mike Herrington will be calling the offensive plays when the Indians host El Camino Real in their season opener tonight at College of the Canyons. Captains are meeting at midfield and the start is minutes away...

Hart is coming off a disappointing 5-6 season in which the Indians finished third in the Foothill League and lost in the first round of the Southern Section Northern Division playoffs. The Conquistadors went 7-5 and reached the quarterfinals of the City Section playoffs last fall.

Hart will kick off to start the game.
