Taft Coach Matt Kerstetter said he hoped to hear a decision today from City Section officials about the eligibility of well-traveled standout senior running back-linebacker Lucky Radley, who is attempting to play for the Toreadors after transferring from Agoura.

‘They’ve been dragging their heels downtown,’ said Kerstetter, noting that he had initially expected a decision last week. ‘Every time they’ve asked for information, we’ve provided it.’

Radley has not been able to practice while waiting for eligibility clearance. Taft, ranked No. 13 in the Southland by The Times, could use his services Friday when it plays at No. 17 Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.
