Football: Canyon players recovering from injuries

There were some nervous moments Thursday night when two Canyon Country Canyon football players were injured against host Palmdale Highland. The game was delayed close to an hour.

Cole Fairbanks suffered a separated shoulder and was taken to an Antelope Valley hospital. Tyler Miller was taken by helicopter to Holy Cross in Mission Hills with a head trauma but was scheduled to be released this morning, according to a school official.
