Football: Serra-Carson ought to be a classic

There won’t be a game with better athletic talent on display than Gardena Serra from the Southern Section taking on host Carson from the City Section.

Serra’s receivers are supposedly good enough to play college football right now. Carson’s offensive and defensive lines figure to test junior quarterback Conner Preston.

I’ll be blogging from the game while waiting for Rick Neuheisel’s helicopter arrival.

‘I want to see him land,’ Carson Coach Mike Christensen said.
