Mission Viejo running back Exavier Edwards is running all over Tesoro’s inexperienced defense.

Edwards scored on a 31-yard run with 8:47 left in the first quarter to give the Diablos a 7-0 lead. Edwards, an Orange Lutheran transfer, then busted off a 32-yard run on Mission Viejo’s next possession to put the Diablos into Tesoro territory.

The Titans put together a good-looking drive on their first possession, but a 15-yard offensive pass interference penalty killed the drive.
