Football: Mission Viejo looks to stay undefeated tonight

Mission Viejo (6-0, 1-0), ranked No. 9 by The Times, looks to remain undefeated when it plays host to rival Tesoro (3-3, 0-1) at 7:30 p.m. The Diablos are considered one of the best teams in Orange County and are the favorite to take home this season’s South Coast League title.

Still, Tesoro shouldn’t be underestimated. The Titans are coming off a disappointing loss to Dana Hills last week and will be looking to earn some respect from its league brethren. Tesoro also has beaten the Diablos in the last two meetings.
