Football: Bercovici appeal hearing is next week

Junior quarterback Michael Bercovici of Woodland Hills Taft won’t be available for the Toreadors this week or next week because his appeal of a decision to make him ineligible after transferring from Westlake Village Westlake won’t take place until Nov. 12.

Taft’s final regular season game is Nov. 13.
