Football: San Pedro leads 14-13 at half

It’s the running game of San Pedro against the passing attack of Dorsey, and so far it’s been a push in the first round of the City Section playoffs.

Fifth-seeded San Pedro holds a 14-13 halftime lead over the 12th-seeded Dons only because of a missed extra point.

Dorsey quarterback Joseph Gray has completed nine of 20 passes for 190 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Receiver Marvin Hall has five catches for 102 yards and a touchdown.

San Pedro’s Cristian Farrow has 110 yards and a touchdown in 18 carries.

San Pedro will get the ball to start the third quarter. The winner of this game plays the winner of the game between Taft and Garfield.
