Boys’ basketball: Palisades defeats Cleveland

In an important game that could have ramifications come playoff time in the City Section, Palisades defeated Cleveland, 83-73, in a nonleague game.

Kenny Towner had 20 points, Donovan Johnson 18 and Garrett Nevels 16 for Palisades (4-1). Cleveland dropped to 3-2.
