Boys’ soccer: Championship for Rancho Cucamonga

Rancho Cucamonga’s boys’ soccer team won the Monrovia tournament championship, beating Rosemead, 4-3, on penalty kicks after regulation ended in a 1-1 tie.

Erik Zamudio was named the MVP goalie, and Mario Zaragoza was named the tournament MVP. Both are from Rancho Cucamonga.
