Girls’ Basketball: Ayala could turn things around

Even though Ayala’s (7-5) record may seem unimpressive, don’t underestimate the Bulldogs.

UCLA-bound Rhema Gardner has recovered from her ACL tear and Ariel Marsh made her first on-court appearance since tearing her ACL last week at the Best of the West tournament.

Ayala made it to the semifinals at the tournament before losing to Corona Santiago, the Times’ fifth-ranked squad in the Southland.

Ayala plays at Etiwanda (11-4) today at 5 p.m.
