Boys’ basketball: Seats still available at Fairfax

It’s about 10 minutes to tip-off in the Fairfax gym and the most amazing thing so far is that there are still a few seats available. Usually the place is packed an hour before the Lions play Westchester.

The early celebrity sighting is Michael Rapaport of ‘Beautiful Girls’ fame.

Fairfax might be down a notch or two from its typical dominating form, but Coach Harvey Kitani said he hopes his team can hang around with top-ranked Westchester and possibly steal a victory in the fourth quarter.

We’ll have blogging updates throughout the game provided no one unplugs my power cord or knocks over my computer while walking by my less-than-ideal setup in the front row near midcourt.
