Boys’ basketball: Santee’s Cotton makes eight three-pointers

Dominique Cotton, a junior guard at Los Angeles Santee, set a school record Friday night by making eight three-pointers en route to a 34-point performance in his team’s 90-50 Southern League victory over Bernstein.

Santee is 14-3 overall and 9-0 in league and will be the likely top seed in the new City Section Division III.
