It’s not how you start that matters, it’s how you finish.
St. Bernard outscored Hillcrest Christian 35-11 in the second half on its way to an impressive 53-31 victory in the Southern Section Division 6AA championship game at Colony High in Ontario.

The Vikings (20-13) were seeded No. 1 but hardly played like it in the first half, making just 4 of 39 field goals and 10 of 19 foul shots. However, they opened the third quarter on a 17-0 run to seize control of the game.
