Alex Carmon made a three-pointer from the top of the key, then got a steal and a layup and a putback basket to give Long Beach Poly a 54-38 lead over host Crenshaw with 4:24 remaining in the third quarter.

Carmon’s six straight points have made him the game’s high scorer with 16.
