Baseball: Cory Hahn comes through for Mater Dei

Cory Hahn of Santa Ana Mater Dei is supposed to play center field for Arizona State next season. He might have to give pitching a try after he threw a one-hitter Wednesday night to help the Monarchs beat defending Trinity League champion JSerra, 7-2.
Last week, he shut out Orange Lutheran, 7-0. Suddenly, Mater Dei is 4-3 overall and 2-0 in the Trinity. And if teams can’t beat Hahn, then Mater Dei just might pull off a Trinity League surprise.
