Girls basketball: Bonnie Samuelson is headed to Stanford

Edison High superstar Bonnie Samuelson has committed to Stanford, according to the Orange County Register.

The 6-foot-3 junior led Edison (24-6) to the Southern Section Division 2AA semifinals while averaging 27.1 points, nine rebounds, 2.9 assists and 4.4 steals. She also shot 92% from the free throw line.

Her achievements off of the court, however, may be even more impressive. She has a 4.8 grade point average.
