Softball: Garden Grove Pacifica beats Valencia

Garden Grove Pacifica defeated Valencia, 3-2, in an Empire League matchup on Tuesday at Pacifica High.

The Mariners got all three of their runs in the bottom of the second inning on a sacrifice fly by senior Ashley Carlson and a two-run homer by senior Kayla Anderson.

That win gave Pacifica (17-8, 5-0) the edge over Valencia (17-4, 4-1) in league play.
