Westchester, known for its powerhouse basketball teams, could be a contender to win the City Section Division II baseball title. The Comets have won nine of their last 10 games after beating University, 17-2, on Friday.

Jamaal Moore struck out 11 and Robert Gsellman had three hits, raising his average to .688. Dominique Starks had a home run and double. Those three players figure to lead the Comets to prominence in the post season.
