Football: Jacob Smith appears headed for Granada Hills

The City Section is about to get a new speedster. Jacob Smith, one of the fastest running backs in the San Fernando Valley, is moving into the Granada Hills district and could be enrolled by next week, Coach Billy Parra said.
Smith, a junior, played last season at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame. He attended Canyon Country Canyon this past semester.
He has terrific speed and should help the Highlanders in football and track and field if he gains his eligibility.
