Baseball: A home run to watch with a wood bat

For all those who think a high school kid can’t hit a prodigious home run using a wood bat, I advise you to take a look at the home run hit by Rouric Bridgewater from Pomona Diamond Ranch in the seventh inning of the Southwest Future all-star game earlier this month at the Urban Youth Academy in Compton.

Here’s the link to the game from LA36.org. Go to the seventh inning. It’s a blast.

And, if anyone looks like a pro prospect hitting the ball, it’s Bridgewater.
