There were five players from Southern California selected to play this summer for the Collegiate National Team.

They are pitchers Gerrit Cole (UCLA, Orange Lutheran), Noe Ramirez (Cal State Fullerton, Alhambra), Sean Gilmartin (Florida State, Crespi), catcher Steve Rodriguez (UCLA, St. John Bosco) and first baseman Nick Ramirez (Fullerton, Anaheim Katella).

The team will travel to Japan later this summer for the World University Championships.
