Football: Santa Margarita impressive early

Santa Margarita looks like the better team in the early going of its intersectional clash against Carson, ranked No. 19 in the Southland by The Times, taking a 14-0 lead over the Colts late in the first quarter on a 21-yard touchdown pass from Adam Young to Logan Sweet.

Carson has a turnover and three offsides penalties. Santa Margarita appears to be the more disciplined team, and the Colts will have to get their act together to have a chance.
